Enabling notifications for the Guesty mobile app

Your phone's settings will affect how notifications are received in the Guesty mobile app.

Before you begin

Check the following settings on your device to ensure they are not blocking alerts:

Android iPhone

  • Check that modes such as Work or Sleep do not limit notifications.
  • Low Power Mode limits background app activity and may delay notifications.
  • "Developer Options" may limit background apps and force-close the Guesty app.
  • "Deep Sleep" settings prevent apps from running in the background.

Enable notifications on your device

Follow the steps below to enable notifications for Guesty on your phone.

Step by step:

  1. Go to your device's settings.
  2. Find the Guesty app settings.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Toggle on Allow notifications.

  1. Sign in to the Guesty mobile app.
  2. Tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap Allow push notifications.
  5. Customize your alerts by selecting the specific events you want to track via email, in-app, or push notifications.

  • Payment: Payment failed, Payments received, Payment overdue, Auto authorization hold failed, Booking.com invalid credit card, Authentication required, Invalid credit card, Payment refund.
  • Reservations: Reservation alteration, Reservation canceled, Reservation confirmed, Reservation declined, Reservation inquiry, Double booking, Cancellation request declined, Airbnb alteration received, Airbnb alteration approved, Airbnb alteration declined, New guest message, Guest failed screening.
  • Tasks: New attachment, Task reschedule, New comment.
  • Channel: Channel financial sync failed, Agoda connect, Host reactivation, Listing reactivation in Airbnb, Tax collection type changed, Airbnb payout info required, Airbnb taxpayer info required, Airbnb listing suspended, Airbnb listing ground rules violations, Airbnb listing pending removal, General host suspension, Airbnb listing verification required, Airbnb listing reactivation, Airbnb host additional compliance information required.
  • Other: Calendar is open, Calendar is blocked, Authentication failed, Booking.com invalid CC expired, Payment overcharged, Payment bank transfer received.
